Default H/c stall ls1 85 camaro vs nitrous 4:10 Bolton 2v

Well I was a little nervous about this race since 2v have been slaying ls1 cars left and right on here, but agreed anyways.

85 camaro ls1 swap
Cwarta ported ls6 heads
223/230 Fti/Ed Curtis custom grind
Yank pt4000 stall
Cwarta built 4l60e w/John Deere hytrans
3:42 gears
315 nitto555r

2v mustang
Boltons
4:10 gears
100 shot
No back seat or trunk internals
Nitto 315 nt05r

I spun almost all of 1st. Had a good time with friends, glad to be back behind the wheel again. Also raced a jeep srt8 with mopar performance cold air and exhaust and put a couple busses on it. Video won't upload of that one though.

Not sure whatnot weighs. I don't have an a/c pump or condenser, that's the only weight reduction. I imagine it's a little lighter than a 4th gen . I wasn't planning on racing him so I had my family shot in it, tools, car seats, etc in it lol.

Nice kill.. First race you made the 2v look like it wasn't moving.

I'm pretty stoked with how it's running for a baby cam car. Ed has a new cam in the works for me, when he did this one I asked for a daily driver cam. Just found out my wife is pregnant with our 3rd so now this car is no longer a viable option for family life, so race cah for the win.

Thanks for the info, just wondering how much better the power to weight was compared to a 4th gen.

No problem! I'll scale it tonight, curious myself.

Yes, like a 2002 I think.

Gotcha! Nice kill! I used to have a 04 gt with cams, full bolt ons, and a 100 shot. It made 400 rwhp/500 rwtq. I think my current 2000 SS running n/a would take my old gt, but it would be somewhat close. I'm not surprised you won, but I would've thought it to be be much closer than that

I think you commented on my thread in the 10 second club. But this is the car I'm attempting that with. I figure it will run 11.5-7 in current form in 2000+ d/a. Winter I'm going to put a little more gear in it, restall to 4400 and put in this new badass cam. Coupled with great air and some weight reduction, who knows lol

Thanks! I'm thinking I should get a medal or something for slaying one of these nasty beasts.

No, This one just has more mods, less weight, and better tires. However, I'm lining it up to make the drive to race that car and some of his friends.
