Good friend of mine has one of the fastest B series Hondas in the Midwest. He was feeling antsy to race since there wasn't anything in his league and agreed to turn the car down to 20psi for a fun run.

For reference, it went 9.49 at 156 on ~42psi a few weeks ago.

My car went 11.0 at 131.

Nice run, I actually thought you would have won it. Hard to get traction on the street making that power to the front wheels. I'm sure :turning it down" helped out

No he had his laptop with him and just changed the boost curve so it would only peak 20. The car has an AEM setup.

good question. Im going to say no and that it just relies on boost by gear. Its mainly a track SFWD car.

Gotcha. Thats my next big plan I think (stand alone ECU). I would love flex fuel and traction control mainly. Would help big time

Everything else is stock (motor, trans, converter, 3.15 gear etc..)

Cool. 11-14 then. Should be solid 10s. I'll be getting a pair of wheels with MTs in 2 weeks, hope to be in that realm as well.

Nasty little ******, 9.8@156 is same exact ET and trap as my 14R the first time I ever took it to the track NA/stock wheel base(and I couldn't launch worth a damn). Hard to swallow a damn civic doing that lol.

When they say "no replacement for displacement" they aren't talking about boost .
