Default C5 Z06 vs 16 charger scat pack vs 97 LS1 z28

Last night a few of us got together for some runs in Mexico

My car is a 16 charger scat pack stock besides the air filter and had a passenger. The other cars the members can chime in and put there exact mods. We plan on meeting again in two weeks at the local track here's a couple of vids and pix.

Looks like you had fun man! Your car is gorgeous btw. Just in case the others don't come in do you know if their cars are bolt-ons only or internally modded by chance?

I have the c5z. Stock internals, just cut outs and a mgw shifter. Few other minor mods but nothing for performance.

Nice car and runs! C5z still a force to be reckoned with.

hey swoop why where you starting so miserably low in the rpm range? you should have been 2 gears higher at least. You would have yarded him bad if you had been in the right gear for racing.

In all honesty it was hard to get a clean roll, and I think all the races where at 55 mph .. at the track should be better for the dig.

Personally I always manually gear down in sport mode to proper gear for the speed, mash it, and throw it back in D

The whole time I was just mashing it.. getting to know the car honestly. . I think I should have used the paddles? If so what rpm should I be launching at and shifting at?

Yea I need to practice that, just like in a few days I'm gonna practice using the launch control. . I feel I would do better at the track using that..

Yeah our cars are almost twins lol. I put it in manual mode to choose the gear then mash it and let it shift.

Also launch control messes you up at the track. It will lurch forward and trip the lights.
