Cam and Bolt-ons could not take a bolt-on tune EVO 8? Sounds as though the EVO had a little more than that. Am I off on this?

I really like the Chevy SS. Not a fan of how this one sounded, but it looked good imo.

A "stock turbo" evo 8 can mean lots of things lol. A lot of people do an Evo 9 turbo upgrade because its very easy and cheap. With a 9 turbo and e85 they can make 400+whp. They can also weigh in the low 3k lb range if a base model. If its a 93 octane Evo 8 turbo, low 300's then, so they vary a bunch.

My buddy had an evo 8 with a big turbo and a built engine. Made 670whp on e85. Turbo blew and he went back to an evo 9 turbo. Still pushes a mean 430whp at a 3050 race weight

Yea...totally get that. I have seen some of them get nasty. I guess that mod description of bolt-ons and tune was a little vague though.
