Nice mavn....tore that **** up. I did that same thing to the oe clutch in my car.

You can likely rebuild that one for cheaper tgan you can do another for. But if you wane another look at the qtr master stuff. They're light and can be rebuilt reasonable. Tilton which is what us in my car can be rebuilt reasonable to. What ever you do keep it light.

I wouldn't put a monster in much if anything. Atleast not the ones he tries to push.

I like my Monster Stage 3 personally. Takes some getting used to for street driving but holds power and works well.

I race in a stick class and most of the GM guys run either Monster's or RPS Clutches...whichever your pocket can afford.

Qtr master makes nice ****. Same with tilton. If I'm gonna spend the $ on some of these high dolla clutches it's likely gonna be one of those 2.

Tilton has a real nice adjustable hydraulic release bearing for these cars now.

Spec has a nice mini disc clutch worth checking out too.

You 2 are out to lunch if you are recommending that stuff. The one he has is likely better than either of those.

If you want the performance you will pay the price. Worst thing is you can't get that performance anywhere else. These are not throwaway clutches tho.....you can rebuild them for much less.

My Monster stage 3 hasn't missed a beat in my 4,000 lb G8. I regularly drag race the car on Hoosiers too. I've cut a best of 1.59 60ft with no sweat. I am however going to a Monster LT1 S/C clutch to give the clutch feel some refinement
