Default 335i, 16 SS, SC 3v, V2 V, 5.0

335i mods: dci, intercooler, downpipes, exhaust, stage 1 lpfp setup, jb4, e85 bef.. 22psi.. mine

Ctsv v2: muffler delete

5.0: intake, exhaust, gears and tune

16 SS: tune only

S197 3V: Supercharged, unknown other mods.

Had a few runs yesterday. The v and 5.0 were the only runs on video. The v is stock and the 5.0 has intake, exhaust, gears and tune.

I was trying to stay back to film them.

Ran the 5.0 afterwards and put 3.5 on him.

Ive been trying to get a good run with this SS(tune only) and the supercharged 3v had been telling me to bring it all week.

So we go to our spot in mexico and line up 3 wide. Im in the center and honk it off. I instantly jump out .5 car on both of them. The 16ss is slowing falling back and the damn 3v is barely falling back. We let off around 14x and i have almost 2 cars on the ss and only 3/4 of a car on the 3v. I was wtf, he must be putting some boost to that 3v. We hit it one more time with the same results.

The damn 3v suprised me, but he was more suprised when he couldnt beat me. We got back over the border and he told me he was only making 4psi, i immediately called bullshit.over heard him talking to others saying its suppose to make 12psi, but his boost gauge is messed up and only showing 4psi. Lol

Good ole mustang 3 valve lying n misrepresenting like usual. 4psi is right around the point where the boost is offsetting the power deficit caused by the motor having to spin over the supercharger which means his car would be right around the speed/time of a non-boosted 3 valve.

More like the valet was driving it. Moron couldn't even drive it like he stole it: instead the driver acted like she was on her way to pick up the kids from soccer practice in her mini van.

I ran up to a 40% mix on my stock pump.. now i run 55-70% mix and it stays fine, the hpfp is the only thing that gets low now. I need pi.

Ever have any issues with trashing heads? I'm not exactly sure what happened but I think a valve dropped. Have a friend who had a 2013(or close to) 335i with a twin scroll but he got a tune and managed to go through two heads in a couple months or so. Damn fast car for just a tune though

I have a N55 and haven't had any issues with that. Mines a 2011 with about 22k and I've been tuned or piggybacked I should say for 4,000 miles.

What kind of tune did he get? Tell him to look into MHD, they now have tunes for the N55 motor.

Lol with the Caddy.
You can see it hit but it takes a moment to get that girth moving, but once its momentum is going forward watch out.
Thanks for sharing.

I can completely see how this race fared as it did with the caddy being muffler delete only given the Bimmer's mods.
