It was opening night and I was hoping to see if any 6gs showed up to see how they did. Hardly anyone showed and I got bored. I had no intention of going down the track. It costed me the same to drive or to stand there so I went out. It was a bad idea.

Camaro Fest is at Bowling Green, KY which is about an hour from me. Maybe I'll try again there...

Elevation there is about 500ft with pretty cold temps so DA couldn't be terribly bad. I ran 8.4s in a makeshift NASCAR pit lane that opens once per month and isn't allowed to be prepped at 90mph in the bro.

You just need to break down and get some radials man.... street tires are going to be disappointing every time. No traction makes for a bad day at the track.

2012 zl1 forced furd to revamp the gt100 for 2013 because it smoked all previous gt100s on it's first crack at it. Pretty impressive considering furd had5yrs under their belt of developing and producing gt100s.

Even then the inly way the 13 gt100 can compete isin a straight line

Catfish sales were dismal at best before it's death, then the terminator came out and finished it off.

Sis gen is what the fif gen should have been. We all would have been way further ahead as consumers if that happened.

Terminator wasn't even same class as Catfish nor same time period. Catfish was killed by GM and was grossly out of date even by 01. The Ford Pony cars are long forgotten from that era unlike the Fbombs.

Compare a 98-02 Ford V8 Mustang anything to a F bomb from that period. F bomb vs a v8 Mustang even a current model is close. Compare a V8 Mustang from that era to a 5th gen or 6th gen and its a joke.

A terminator is a newer car with a power adder that cost much more. Not really a fair comparison. A Cobra from the same time period would get waxed.

You are right!! When the 2012 ZL1 came out, Ford didn't have the 2013 GT500 already developed for a couple of years before release!! They had to modify the 2012 that year and came up with the 2013s within 6 months! Cool beans!
