LOL..I hear ya with that red line on the dash thing. It does mess with your head. You see them rpms going well past it and then you hear and feel the motor screaming. Something keeps telling you to shift even though you shouldn't. Sometimes you just have to say fk it though.

Oh don't say those words. I've lived by that saying for way too long lol (probably why I'm on my second wife ) I like your way of thinking Mach!

By the way, do you have a shift light installed in the SS? I think it is a nice way of getting the most our of your car and keep you from over revving. I think MSD even makes one where you can have multiple shift setting. Just a thought.

No I don't have one atm. Was actually thinking of getting one to mount in a gauge pod along side my AF. Anyone do this?

Get a Raptor shift light and mount it in your AC/Heat vent. Invisible until you hit the desired shift RPM. It's what I have in my Mustang since the factory fox tach is LOLworthy. Works flawlessly.

After having an obnoxious 5" monster tack and shift light the size of a pringles can on my 13 second fox in high school, I've learned to appreciate the subtlety of this one

Raptor shift lights are pretty nice. But I got my Harlan and a fraction of the cost. I also have mine hidden in the ac vent

It's behind the vent. You can barely see it until it turns on

Yea kinda ghetto lol. I wouldn't have mine any other place. Easy to wire up, and works great.

Just look at that RPM swing close to seven and smash the next gear. MGW will make this very very easy. Absolutely no thought needed. It just pushes to the next gear.
