Default Lmao

So I was driving my $500 99 GTP last night stock as a rock with a bunch of leaks, ran into a slightly modded G37 coupe and proceeded to pull 1-2 cars on him. This thing is a lil sleeper lol. Also beat my friends LT1 car from a dig when he spun. This is fun I'm enjoying it

Put headers, 3" DP, pulley and tune on it, and you'd probably beat the LT1 from a roll too.

Surprised you beat a G37 coupe. My mom has the heavier 4door Q40 but the same 3.7l engine and it stomps modded 3vs.

Sometime when I have good money again I'll probably do all that along with a rebuild on the motor (just for longevity reasons), intercooler, and port the blower

Those motors are solid. You don't need to mess with the bottom end. They don't break unless you never change the oil or don't keep your KR under control.

I just want to reset the clock to 0 on the motor because of the fact that I want to keep this car for a looong time.

How many miles? Anything under 200k is pretty low for those motors.

Good kills.

Very surprised you beat the LT1 from a dig, even with him spinning. They pull a loottttt harder then a GTP from pretty much anywhere, and weigh pretty much the same too.

I was telling Jake a while ago I wouldn't mind a bolt on one. They are nice comfy cars. Guy here at work has one with 230K on it. Most of it is original.

So the one genesis beat me, lost $20. Raced another one in the group that was out last night, he was mostly stock and not a good driver, and I beat him but he didn't wanna bet on it. Oh well. Still had fun

Nice, sounds like you guys are having fun!

I had a chance to pick up a GTP as a daily, and should have...ended up with a TA in a love/hate relationship that I regret selling.

114k is nothing at all. You could drive that motor another 200k easily. If you have a brand new tranny then you're set for a long time.
