ZL1 vs hellcat roll race

Our summer night average DA is +2500-3500....Sometimes a little worse.
Our winter night average DA is 0 to +1200'. After fronts blow through and barametric pressure is high, we'll get some -500 to -800 DA nights but it doesnt last.
My C7Z completely stock with paper plates went 10.84@127 on a +400' night with 1/2 tank. 3740lbs with me in it.
It went 10.66@129 on a -1000 DA night with a CAI, but it was pulling 5* of timing all the way down the track from KR.
I have several buddies with C7Zs and all have been in the high 10s stock, even a convertible went 10.89, and that driver is 240lbs.
These cars are not fast by any stretch, but they can run as GM advertised as long as you pay attention to details.
FWIW, at this same track, my wife's 16' SS Camaro ran 12.37@114.5 completely stock on a -300' DA night, and that was peddling a bit due to insane wheel hop. That was only a 1.93 60'...(they usually go 1.70s on Run Flats). So obviously, this is an average run for a 6 gen, showing that the track is also just as average.

Hammer other view of that zl1 vs gt500. Looks like its actually a really close race.

This ofcourse, is comparing the good running ZL1s to the good running C7Zs in the same air... Lots of variables.

Here at Milan Dragway in Michigan, what I've seen is a stock Hellcat Challenger run 11.1 @ 124 with just drag radials. And a stock C7Z run 11.3 @ 126. Both these runs were at a test and tune, and DA was right around +1600 with temps around 60 degrees.

He cruised right by me in the right lane next to me. Even got it on vid.
Hoping to see him again at the end of this year when I get everything sorted. He's in trouble if he's still stock and i tree him like I did last time...

Owner of zl1 said he pulled 1/2 car. Seems that the new zl1 is a good run with the 3 year old gt500. Good job gm playing catchup to the old gt500. New ones is about to come out and wreck ****
Same zl1 is bolt ons now. And lost one and won one vs a sc 5.0.

AJRoth is dead on about pulling 5* a whole run. We just dyno'd my buddy's less than 800 miles. bone stock A8 C7Z. on a mustang dyno only put down 504 and second run 499 back to back.. Added half a can of this octane boost to his half tank of supposed 93 (because he saw that the throttle closed up and it was pulling 4* all the way up) and an AFE CAI without touching anything only logging and the following pulls were ZERO kr and it put down 566 back to back.. that's 60 wheel on a very stingy dyno that we nicknamed the dream killer because so many are crushed when they make 100 wheel less than on "everyone elses" dyno..
FWIW, the calculation of the octane boost brought the octane to somewhere near 95 if what was in the tank was truly 93.. who knows anymore. point is, the stock cal is very sensitive to kr and errs on the side of caution to the 10th degree.
moral of the story, throw a simple octane booster in your tank if you're going out to prove something if you haven't relaxed the kr sensitivity.
IAT's started during the pull in 5th gear at low 140's and went beyond 155. on dyno to be expected but the stock cal starts pulling at 149f iirc.
Can't wait to compare the ZL1 on the same dyno.
