Agreed it comes out of a pump. Just like when I used to go to the airport and by airplane fuel out of a pump. Diesel as well. And at our old camp our water came out of a pump too. So pump is good for you lol. It's kinda funny it's mostly alcohol and a lot of boosted guys use it and methanol. And race alcohol is a alcohol and methanol mix iirc.
Just because it comes out of a "gas pump" doesn't make it gas. If you plan on using e85 for fuel on a build, and were talking to a engine builder would you just say "pump gas" motor? Would you put together a "pump gas" fuel system? Wouldnt even say "pump"

Tiocrew is good

I've been in New Orleans for the last week so I've been a ghost.

Congrats on your runs, Tyler! I bet that's a fun bitch to drive.

Its no real intake manifold is headers. He isn't making the power the long block has the potential for.

Didn't those engines have kinda shitty heads? They sure didn't make much power

Yup a friend of mine has a "Intech" wiring nightmare.
It was a turd for sure.

He actually was talking about swapping it into a mustang. I never thought he would get it done anyway. But I guess he went online and some of the more experienced ford guys straightened him out on the idea.

But ask automach all you got to do is throw balanced crank, rods, pistons,gt heads, gt cams, intake, TB, flywheel,LS coil conversion, and it will be all set. Till you turn it and it falls apart

The heads were fine. Ford simply couldn't design a decent combo.

The point you made that the cobro R was underpowered is correct.

One of the many big mistakes with pre 2011 modulars is the interference valvetrain design.

Big cams just weren't practical. Head flow and Chamber design were superior. Ford intake manifold were a joke.

The coyote IS a Yates prototype based engine. I had to spend a load of money and add a turbo to have fun with my early modular.

Navigator engines are sad at best. The cobra r and gt supercar/gt500 heads are similar.

The better engine choice is a 4.6 with b or c heads. Very durable.

300/355 for the 5.4L vs 285/325 for the 5.3L from the same era. As per usual, it took GM more cubes to beat the mod motor.

Then why we're the ford so horribly slow?
