Default Head/cam trans am vs stock 6 gen

So I just recently got my car running did ported 243s 4K yank SS torquer v2 rebuilt the rear with motive 373s...as I was doing all this a close buddy of mine coped 6th gen a8 and he's been running his mouth...all I need is some radials and a tune and I can dance...you guys think I gotta shot from a dig?!?! Mind you this guy doesn't know a ignition from transmission I'll be real irritated if I loose. What you guys think will be the outcome?!! Be honest!!

If the 6gen is bone stock on stock tires, you should rape him from a dig.

lol I just wanna gap him cuz all my other boys that don't really know cars thinks he's ganna smash me...my car runs pretty dam good and iits not even fully tuned...

probably both but dig for sure yes his car is bone stock with factory tire a8

..and there lies the issue....

You will beat up on him pretty good imo. Get him on the dig and then take him for a walk on a roll for good measure.

Any idea what it runs at the track?

If your setup is proper and sorted you should win for sure. If not you may be in for a surprise

Probably a close race. Most h/c ls1 cars trap 115-119.A solid running 6th gen will trap in that range.

MOST h/c ls1 cars don't run how they should but I agree it will be close because A8.

Well a 3500lb car making low 400s is nothing special. They run as they should.

Very true, but still there shift extensions still dive with the stock converter.



The Op is making more power, is lighter and has a 4000 stall.

It will be a steady pull in my opinion.
