If I'm going to run ultra at the track I would like to have axles or a trailer lol. I would need to launch it harder than I do now, that's for sure.

Yeah with stock axles good chance you are going to break them with a manual.

Yet he also is right on top of your engine swapped, internal modded, built trans, built rear, hole sawed, max weight and areo race car.
Its not the best the car can do. It was 80f and the manifold was not fully tuned. It was the first time I ran it. I actually lost speed in the 1/8 because I was still on stock shift points.

Lets see what happens this fall...

Not sure an auto with a stock stall is a huge advantage. Im leaving off idle lol.

With a stall id be 60 ft 1.4x

Still no speed loss between shifts.

Did you tune car for manifold swap? A/f etc?

No speed loss but more drivetrain loss

Car was tuned for a ported stocker. My last run at the track was maiden voyage so it was not retuned. Shift point were raised but car did not take them the first time. These things are a bitch to tune.

Tuner said last log we could take a bit of fuel out around 5000. But all in all it wasn't too bad as far as engine tune.

The trans was still only shifting at 61-200. Which the main advantage of the msd is the power after 6000 not dropping off as quickly. He thinks ill pick up another tenth now with it shifting at 6500. Then im gonna try 6700 and see if it likes it. Ill go up until the car slows down.

Tens in negative DA should be in the bag. It would be nice to do it in positive DA though

As expected. 6th Gen SS is a better match for gt500's

Your boosted engine swap car runs 12s.

Guess when you don't know what you're doing, doesn't matter which platform you own

He never ran 12s with that car. The prior owner did hurt. It is a different car now. I think it will go low 11s easy.

Yea more boost i agree. That's usually the sort of effort a furd requires isn't it.

It runs good.....real good. Ported blower helped it alot up top. Metco crank pulley set up nocked alot of rotating weight off the crank to. Deck honing the cylinders straightened them up nicely.

What were you saying about effort again?
