Gear and more gear. That's the only way they have a chance is to have more gear.

It's not even a bad way of doin it. But at some point you have to make real power. 5r0s are pretty high strung out of the box. It's why you don't see them run anything special when built na. They flat get there **** pushed in there. Just like a honda they need boost

Not cost effective modding one na. They always ran good due to gear. Like modulars they suffer from small bore. Big heavy suckers.

Everything shines with boost. They have no advantage with boost. General rule of thumb you double the atmosphere you double the power or nearly double the power on a efficient set up. That goes for ANY engine.

Now if you try and make your 1.9 blower make 15psi on a 6.2 it's not gonna gonna double because it's eating to much power. Hell the new 2.65 blower uses 110hp to pump air in the lt5. Furd giys alwats want the same blower.....but anyone with any common sense knows similar efficiency and boost is a more fair comparison.

But nothing beats the comparison when na.The inly true example if what a engine can make for power.

Ha, this is my buddies car. I wonder when he did this. I will have to hit him up for all of the details. I use his dyno for my tuning and what not. Same track I run at and in the left lane. No wonder the MPH was down. He did trap 120.94. If he would have gone right lane it would have been a solid mph higher. I just rented this track a couple weeks ago and had both lanes going. Left lane was .02 quicker but 1mph slower. Weird. I know he has been telling me that he has been fighting throttle blade issues with this car. It also sounded like they needed a little more glue on the track. It spun a little on every shift. DA had to be positive as well.

Technically I think the maggie is a twin screw, which is a little different from roots. I thought they were the same until my brother corrected me. He builds superchargers for Kobelco compressors
