Power adder Corvette's are slow. Chargers are fast. Turbo 5.0's suffer from terrible lag but then explode all over everything.

RYWB_Racing posted another version of this video yesterday. They claim the Vette has a 200 shot. Considering the horsepower differences between the Vette and the other vehicles, I think it did pretty well. Base LS3 should be putting down around, let's say, 370whp. Add a 200 shot and that is just shy of 600whp. Full exhaust might net you another 70whp(?). So by "maths" it looks like the Vette is down my 130whp. The weight difference helps it out but it is definitely out matched in these races.

Nitrous cars seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes they are downright violent, sometimes they seem like turds.

How many pounds is that charger over the vette?

BTR cam, full exhaust, intake and a 200 shot per the video...

Looks like a cam only car can make 475+ without much work:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-check-in.html

470+200=670@3300=4.92lb/hp
800/3800=4.75lb/hp

Makes sense to me.

It may make 370 stock. Even that would be on the low side. A cam only manual LS3 vette with the bolts ons can make almost 500 to the wheels. Add a 200 shot you’re talking about a car that can be putting down close to 700 or more. At that power level and with its weight advantage it should not be getting caught at all.

My car stock put down 408 and weighed less than 3200lbs. I expected that car to perform better.

Vette shoulda definitely performed better. Put with pumpkin spice cam and a stock intake what can you expect?

So what you are saying is that if the car was modded more and made more power it would do better?

That's crazy....

No.....we are saying if it was modded right it would run better.

Btw it was running 2 boosted cars on e85. The fuel is a pretty large difference. .......but I'm sure you don't credit that any.

Yall need to stop picking your noses and start picking yoyr ears if that's what you heard.

I'll almost guarantee you that vette would run better if you put the stock cam back in it and put it on e85.

car was probably on 14 degrees of timing. Some people just add nitrous and don't test and tune everything is different. ls3 have some low *** compression if i remember correctly.
