Eh, not really, I think that was a 1.7x. Car did a 1.6x and then broke an axle, but for a manual car, I don't think its improving much.
LOL, no. NA. I have no spray...yet

the s550 is handicapped as we all know by weighing as much as a 5th gen f body.
the s550 has to make a LOT more power to compete.
your 10.8 runs illustrate what it takes to compete with a s550. everything.
im thinking you run mid tens cam only.
here is a point that has held in drag racing from day one....
auto vs manuals is a win for a manual with a hero driver.
there are only two automatic transmissions that dyno better at the tires than a typical 6 speed. a powerglide and a C4...
it is my opinion that a manual trans coyote that leaves at 7500 rpms, hooks it, and powershifts it at 7800 will not lose to a coyote a10 with a converter.
i think the same with a roll race.
if that hero driver is Evan Smith, he will drive that manual trans car....either a vette, a coyote, or a fbody faster than any a10 car. the power difference to the wheels is dramatic.
automatic transmissions have a converter full of fluid and clutches, a pump, 6 gearset/cluches, servos, etc.
i know im not in that category, so i drag race an auto. this race featured a vette with better power to weight. poor s550 is a pig.

there is a lot of info on what a range of bolt ons run with either a vette or camaro.

I’m going with a small cam and ported stock heads eventually. A gear when available. Stock converter. My goal is consistent mid 10s. Maybe low ten in neg DA Stock driveability.
Maybe a 100 shot down the road...

Taking the hit looked more dramatic because yote was actually in the correct gear. I see too many videos of guys starting at 3k rpm
Wonder what the outcome would have been with an even hit?
Good shifting regardless

Results woulda been nothing short of the vette solidly pulling about 3-4 cars on the way to gap city.
And yea......wtf is this leaving at 3k ****
I had a guy yell out his window at me once to put my car in 3rd gear like his. I yelled back "**** no you drive your car I'll drive mine". I guess he didn't like my 6k rpm hit in 2nd
