Wow a boosted 4v 5.br0 cant even beat a boosted 2v 3.8 v6 from the 90s. That's gotta sting.

Good runs Ju1ce.

apparently it's also better than a 7 liter H/C/I LS7. That's gotta sting even worse

Why would that sting? I own the exact same 3.8 V6 engine, weetodd.

The L67 has much better flowing heads. Bottom end can probably handle more power also.

This^ Truly impressive what you've done with the car. I know you were worried about the trans back when I was in CT, I'm sure you made plenty of upgrades since, but hows it handling these power levels?

It handles everything very well. The engine is on a safe tune (low timing, conservative AFR, e70+ fuel only). The transmission hasn’t been touched since I built it in 2014 aside from a broken sprag a year later due to dropping line pressure. I added a deeper trans pan and a filter extension and that problem was solved. She ran 10.90 @ 127 on 19 psi in a headwind and for some reason knocked 7 degrees. Sorted the tune out and now I fluctuate the boost depending on my competition.

If it all held together I’d put the car around 10.50 @ 135 on the boost I ran the vette. Could still go 5-7psi higher.

Keep in mind the car is full weight, a/c, and quiet as stock.

Damn..that car is moving, Ju1ce. Running those two cars and seeing how close you ran with them, puts things into perspective on how fast your car really is. Impressive to say the least.
