my fbo 2018 10r80 vs 2017 fbo manual ss finally had the chance to race my friend the buster 2017 fbo manual ss vs my fbo auto 2018 5.0 , since the last time we raced i ported my stock manifold and tune the car at palm beach dyno with ken and rob shoemaker made 474/426 the buster also added an xpipe and retune his car it made 481/460 . at the end we raced 5 times . 50 roll , 35 roll , 45 roll and the last two were a fifty , my car seems to be a bit quicker than last time i was supposed to have an aluminum ds for this race but had to take it off due to vibration . at the end you can't really hate any car both are great looking american cars and the buster is a good buddy of mine . his and mine recordings below . |
as expected close runs with near equal mods. That 10r is just too consistent. if he even thinks about a shift you are gone lol. He needs that msd ported. Ive tried to tell him 20 times lol What is your lighter wheel and tire swap setup? |

Cj intake and you would yank him up top . Good runs btw |
The stock manifold as is don’t even drop off. And his is ported. From the results on the older s550s the 18 manifold is very good I wouldn’t spend the money for sure without some hard data. Would be interesting to see a good comparison between your ported stock |
Good pulls! No torks FTW. |
Good runs. Yote for the win. agree cj would give you that little extra. |
I seen you telling him on yt ultra. Once he gets rid of that 66lb vlutch the talbles will turn. 40lb worth of rotating wr was the story this round. |
Can't beat these new autos. Got me thinking, in the past 5thg gen guys would swap A6s for Th400/4l80s. Are the 10 speeds holding high HP? |
I’ve come to understand you are tuned for c85? |

lmao ported CJ and it's game over. oh and they make near identical power on the dyno as well... wrong on yet another count. Where’s that 30 hp difference? A8 in 6th gear puts down near the same as the m6. It’s been tested by jannetty racing. So that’s not it either sweet baby rays? |

Not really. 35 is his dead spot. He did well when in a good gearing area. Which is few and far between against a 10 speed. Funny even the owners say the cars run close. But you know better I’m sure. Same with the dyno numbers im a second and 7 mph faster than that 6gen FYI. I’m sure I’d still get my soul crushed though eh |
This is E85 vs E85 run Ultra. |
