Default Whipple 5.0 vs Procharged 5.0
Had the opportunity to meet up with a local mustang owner with a Whipple S550 5.0 and it’s Whipple tune. Only thing done to tune was removing a lot of the torque management except for the shifts. My car is a P1sc car with Shelby manifold and full exhaust. Both autos on 93oct. We did a few 40 rolls. After the first run I decided to not rev it out as much and it resulted in pretty fun close runs. Very fun running with chill people just looking to compare cars.

Any mods to the Whipple 5.0, or just stock other than the blower? Any dyno or track numbers for either car?

maybe a catback, not sure. I don’t think he has been on a dyno. I’m in the low 600 range and last track outing was 10.30s at 136

Gotcha. The new 5.0 with a blower is hard to beat for the money. A modern up to date car with 600-700 rwhp for 40k is pretty damn nice

Needs bigger whipple. If your blower don't have more cubes than your motor, you might be gay.

Orange is the new black runs , good runs i was able to see these two going at it live , both cars run hard .

Of coarse not talking down on anyone. Blkmach & swapped3vgt are on different levels. Bet it would be fun to run the 18gt wit my car. Prolly be a good run.

Might be closer than you think. They trap nearly 130 with his mods. I think he would beat me on a long pull. But I’d have him up to 120 range. Just guessing

Eh. Guess I'd have to see to believe. Carlos' car runs strong. Down here it was the whipple yotes running around 130. Maybe this 18 stang is a rocket. The mods/power is impressive. Think it would be cooler to see a run like 3v & Gus. As we know what Blkmach did to Gus.

Well I have seen a couple shop built 18s run that NA. One of them was on c85. Which he has been tuned for as well.

im sure black will win for sure... just like to see the difference like I said.
