Reading the comments in Youtube, that 2V was a cammed 125 shot car with 4.10s on stock internals. I am sure that it hits pretty hard from the go. So hard that he broke the motor.

I was just saying that a 125 shot and 4.10s on a light car such as an SN95 2V can be nasty on the initial hit. It may run out of steam up top but I am sure it would be a handful from a dig or slow roll.

No doubt. I would have thought that the GT500 would have started to run him down but I really did not see it coming back.

Before my Camaro I had a 04 gt with VT stage 1 cams, 3.90 gear, and a 100 shot. It made 400 rwhp and 500 rwtq. It really didn't fall off up top, but you're right it was very strong on the hit, and if I could get a half car or whatever on the hit like that, it would usually keep the lead on other cars making 50 hp or more. Oddly enough I remember my buddy trapping 116 in the quarter with his stock 08 GT500 and I trapped the same on the same day.
