I realize that it is just a personal preference and some may disagree but sound is also part of the whole experience just like acceleration and the overall feel and look of the car. I just cant get wood if a car sounds like a weed wacker while accelerating. Then again, I might be getting to set in my ways.

Have a honda FIT for college daughter to drive, I put a head gasket in it,, interesting thing, that little 1.5 uses just about every single trick an LS uses to make power.. MLS head gasket, Thin rings, "reverse water flow" deep skirt block, (but their version of VVT) works.. Fairly short skirted pistons... Its a nice well made engine.

But It just doesn't sound as good..
