TT Flop Gen 1LE vs 6th Gen ZL1 1LE

Just finished this car up, only test subject so far

Zl1 is stock

HCI2000SS 10-10-2018 04:05 PM

Wasn't even a race lol

BlkMach1 10-10-2018 08:32 PM

Good race for a second or 2.

OneSlowV 10-10-2018 11:14 PM

Fucking hell lol good kill. Gotta be the best running 5th gen I’ve seen .

shoyouright 10-11-2018 01:18 AM

As expected.

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 07:08 AM

Twin turbos rule

kinglt-1 10-11-2018 09:21 AM

Good kill

Not sure why people act like 5th gens can't run....especially a TT LS3. A stock 1LE 6th gen ZL1 isn't all that fast in a straight line anyway(11.7 @ 123). Both cars probably close in weight. A LBO E85 A8 SS would edge one out.

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 09:54 AM

That's crazy to think of since a 13/14 gt500 is slower than a 6gen zl1

LOL wrong.

BlkMach1 10-11-2018 10:12 AM

And here...we....go

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 10:54 AM

They have tested faster and been faster stock. So yes zl1s are faster. Not sure what the bolt on record for each are but I'm sure the smaller blower on a better flowing engine will find its limits faster.

Mike Morris 10-11-2018 11:15 AM

Trinity about the same. Older car though.

Better flowing? Yet just like the ls9 the new Lt4/5 will not make the power the 5.4/5.8s are making with the 2650.

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 11:41 AM

Run them at the same boost and any ls/lt will make more.

Just like they do na

I already proved they don't.

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 03:24 PM

But you didn't

Get a 2650 and catch a lane. I will prove it again.

HioSSilver 10-11-2018 04:12 PM

You haven't proved anything right besides a na modular/coyote won't make the power a ls does period. Double the atmosphere of both at the same efficiency that gap only widens.

The ONLY way to keep up is to run more boost. Just how it is. You have proven this.

Are you saying a same cube, same adder, same fuel, same boost, etc build of a coyote and a LS would be a win for LS every time? Ignoring cost. Just straight comparison.

UltraZLS1 10-11-2018 05:00 PM

Can a trinity handle 1500 hp SBE ? The lt4 can. If you can find the fuel and have the cash lol
