nope he didn’t say. He is planning on a vortec soon. Invite was still open even if he would have showed way faster than me. Just thought it woukd be a cool vid and good for his channel

He runs with jim Duffy that has the 10.5 bolt on 6g. He ran a 11.2@123 the night jim went 10.58@127.8 IIRC

jim is in one of his vids from a month or two back when he is running 10.8s when he first got the converter in/tuning it

Camaro has been faster at the track then 5.0 with bolt ons. 10.5 to 10.7. Not sure on trap but i know bolt on bro out texas trapped 130.

Boost 5.0 is killing camaro as its been 8.6@164 on a stock engine and trans.

I’ve got the fastest trap so far that I know of for a bolt on 6g. 128.17.

also steeda has been 10.63 now. I look for them to just gut the **** out of it and be about 10.3 by the end of the year. Last I knew it was similar WR to me and jim. Supposedly.
It’s also on c85 and I bet they go to ftw. It’s a shop car with one purpose. Just like Texas speeds car. It’s going to be hard to compete with that. There isn’t one shop built bolt on 6g going for records atm

Lucille, what mode do you have your car in for roll racing? Track or Drag?

depending on the roll , if doing a lower roll let's say 20 , 40 I set the car on drag strip mode for 50 and above rolls I use sport plus .

That thing is fast! It does seem a little odd. The runs with the mero were much closer & mero was letting off when gap got to around a car. The black stang straight up annihilated Leo. That reminds me of maybe how CS would pull on Leo. Not the same car, same mods, with only a different manifold & gears. Maybe a gap. But not that much.. Think of the time mph/difference at track. I would bet closer to a 100whp difference(or crazy light) as stated earlier. Like close to the difference between CS & Leo power. Whatever. So I guess if Leo does that one mod his car will pull like that? Doubt it.

Have him run CS.

Been saying this for months

the first time I seen a dyno graph of an 18i knew manifold gains would be limited. The damn thing never drops off lol

That was an awesome test VMP did with all the manis. It was odd that the 18 mani peaked around 7k but then dropped off. Where say Leo's graph never drops off. They spun it close to 8k maybe 7800, in a dyno vid, & the power never dropped.

Right? The CJ should have made like 550rwhp. Lol.

That's awesome! The 18 mani is hard to beat. The CJ will make a bit more power but at a pretty big cost.

It’s the same with the camaro

big money for a ported msd. Small gains

when you add a cam though the msd is worth 35 rwhp over stock

From the tests i have seennthe 5br0 manis really only seem to move basically the same power around in the rpm range the engine runs in. This really just allows the car to stay in the lower gear longer.

Good runs.....but it's funny to me to see the furd guys calling out the other furd guys for undisclosed mods.

Vmp test was a joke there cj test wasn’t done with the proper Tb . Also a ported cj is another easy 15 rwhp over a ported 18 manifold. And we all know the cj carries the powerband well over 7500 rpm . Also from a roll we see what a cj does to a ported 18 car gap city .

I think the best thing would have been Leo run that white SS & see the difference. He's(blk 18) only claiming 484rwhp or something like that. Just a dyno # though. Again for him to pull on Leo like that would take a pretty big difference. Although we're told both cars are modded the same except for the manifold. Hey to put a manifold on & have it do what a blower would do. Why is everyone not doing this instead? Lot less $ and close to same performance??

Last car that pulled on me like that was a 800whp hellcat. Not a bolt on yote. Like said. If he's running that hard he should run CS. Se what happens.
