Good runs, close race. Them twins tho.. Stock, the only 5th Gen I would buy is the ZL1 or the Z28 (7.0) - the stock ls3 should have at least came with a bigger cam/heads.. something
Not hating the 5th Gen by no means, was just disappointed when I first drove one compared to by TA.

If 5gen was geared right and not saddled with a clutch 2xlb heavier than a 5br0 the cryotes wouldn't be nearly as competitive as they were. Really the s197 5br0 was only comparable in straight lines. The 5gen wore that pos chassis out in turns.

So when did a car become garbage when it out performs another in every performance area and ties it in another?
And saying a tie is being nice. I've seen a bolt on 5gen just flat thrash bolt on 5br0.....so just think how far your car woulda been behind a 5gen.

Now what is a disappoint is a h/c light weight fox that would get drug by a bolt on 5gen.
