i know exactly where it happens. I also know the converter will consume power.
they don't increase tq at all. They simply get the engine to a area in the power curve where it hits the hardest. If ANYTHING a converter with absorb power and turn it into heat......lots of heat is wasting power. It can not make power unless it can turn itself period.
If conveerters can make power like some of you seem to think they would roll race better.
if what you said were true the auto coyote stock cars would be competitive.....all auto cars would automatically be faster because of this inherent design of the tq conveter.
