2019 370z vs fbody
 
I work at a Nissan plant and we get a pretty sweet leasing deal, so there’s always tons of 370s running around. My car is a 98 z28 m6 fbe ls1 243 heads with valve job, vrx5 cam, ls1 intake. Ran up on one of my buddies that had just leased a 6 speed 370. Speed limit was 65, we both slowed down to 60. Wasn’t really in a good powerband for me, so when we took off I was pulling on him decent, but when it got above 4k I started leaving on him hard. Went to 140 and was easily 10 cars out on him. First time I’ve got to race my build so it made me feel good

Good puppy kick.

You should really get that ls1 intake off of there though. Its a huge bottle neck.

I’m eventually gonna get a fast 102, need to upgrade my fuel pump first

I used to SMOKE my buddy's stock 350z with my stock 98 Z28 A4. Those Nissans are terribly slow off the line too. They gotta be above 5k to pull any sort of power. Good kill!

Do you think a slightly modded LS1 would have hung with him? Just curious what you think after running the 370Z.
