Quick run with buddys Turbo SIlverado.
Rough just finishing you build and getting passed by a Extended long bed where you car suppose to shine

Dammmm that truck was moving. Hiho thought u said trucks don't perform as well as a car.

As expected....something about having a turbo big enough to swallow animals and children means it makes the power from a roll.

not at all. That trucks set up in the car would go faster than the truck.

There are also lots of other performance parameters the car would with at. Acceleration is only 1 of those.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that if you switched the two setups the Z06 would put a serious gap on that truck.

They can't

if they could then the car would be no faster than the truck with the same set up.

It's not rocket science. Trucks can't perform as well. Heavier and less aerodynamic. Takes more horsepower to move them.

and there ya have it.

it goes even further than that. Weight distribution is not as good, roll centers not as good, suspension typically not as sophisticated with heavier moving parts.

It's not that they can't be fun but typically to turn them into performance car you hurt the performance of the truck.

I agree with Hio here, trucks can be awesome...but they'll never out car a car apples to apples.
