Well let's start to hear more details about the car so people can get a better idea. I mean you posted so many differences that matter in that other post. And like I said. They're not only for your cars. Sheesh

And how many think a 15+year project, motor swapped, 450whp, geared, FP trans, very light car should run 11.0~? Lol.


Lol. The best run I've gotten still was 11.80 @122mph. I do believe with the only mod being a gear change it could run mid-low elevens. Just being able to click off 11s the way the car is makes me happy. Like not even revving out 3rd gear before the end. Lol.


As I have the 11.80 pass logged. I thought the shifts were pretty good. The shifts were complete, 100% to 100% throttle, in the .3 second range. For some that is slow. If gears ever went in it would probably be 4.10-4.30. This just isn't the car to chase track times in. For me anyway. Lol.

I think running into the 10s with a bolt on engine, pump gas and a m6 that's not gutted is a pretty good feat to this day .

now this year it has been a 20yr project. But it's not because i didn't know what to do. The car was a dd for 15 yrs.....to put your times vs mine in a comparable evolution. It ran your times in 2002 w/o a dr on a 18" wheel/tire.

Well if you had a c5z bolt ons would be fine. Since you don't, & that engine never came in 4th gen, you have a motor swap or h/c engine. Or by your standard someone could swap in a 427 & just call it bolt ons.

Coming up with dumb **** would be your standard. Since the heads had never been off or the cam out it's definitely not a h/c engine. Since the ls6 went in identical to the ls1 it's a replacement. It's a vette engine in a camaro just like the entire world claims to have.
