It’s not FBO. Just full exhaust and cai system can recall what brand.

previous owner told him it was 380 rwhp iirc

C5Z with light bolt-ons isn't coming close to your 6th gen from anywhere. Even FBO you win from a roll.

6th gen going to get the win hands down man. Now a full hio build c5z with weight reduction and some other tricks maybe.

What's funny is if it doesn't have carbon fiber DS, one hood hinge, homemade aluminum plates on the bottom for aero, then it's a pile of dog **** that wasn't done right. Basically needs 20+ years of mods.

She modded a high 12s / low 13s car for nearly 20 years and made it a low 11s car. Pretty impressive for 3 motors.

C5z has been 10.@135 likely nearing the same form of the record 6gen. They've also been 10.6.....so both cars are right in the realm of running nearly identical.

btw....i have seen bonestock c5z run a 11.8.

What's funny is you're to ******* stupid to understand that a c5z with only the addition of a drag pak would be lighter than my car. You're also ******* stupid for thinking a c5z has a driveshaft.

So you and your bitch boy zoolander can run along and sword fight cause it's ******* obvious neither of you bitches know anything about this.

True but your average c5Z06 ain't going to have the proper mods and likely be stick and an auto 6th gen is going to hurt a 6speed C5z feels period.

So what you want to compare is a very good 6gen to a mediocre or worse c5z......cause if you compare 2 good cars it's a dead heat.

So why in the world would you compare your 17yr build to anything else? Double standard flip flop??

Let's be honest it's way easier to make a 6th gen proper ( cough... Prey....cough......prey) than a c5z06. You know all to well half the people don't put the time and research into making em fast.

Idk if it is. They both just need different things. 6gen has the a8 advantage which seems to be a nice addition but if you want to take that out of the picture and compare car to car then the c5z wins.

Like i said they are very comparable. Gear, drag pak, light clutch, ported tb and intake, tune and c5z will run to the 10s. Headers, ewp, e85, ati balancer, ported fast 102 gonna get you to a 10.5 or so. Race brakes and serious weight reduction and you're going faster than 10.5. A ls6 in that form with rockers is looking at 460 whp ~. That's only 30whp off the lt and the ls6 will rev 300-400 rpm higher......maybe more.

Then it will be in a car that by the time you did race brakes and dropped that little bit here and there you're looking at a 2800~lb car.....and not gutted.

They are only comparable based on owner.. look at it like this take two random people and put one in a C5z and another in the 6th gen what are the odds the 6th gen wins ? Guarantee they are higher.

Serious question. How much abuse can C5Z rears take before major upgrades are needed? Are they pretty stout?
