Sorry dude.....and no i wasn't wrong. Just forgot the the smaller engine was the one that actually made more power than the larger one. Not a big deal unless your a harping bitch. Are you a harping bitch?

Better head bolt replacement pretty much fixed the head gasket leaking problem with them. GM eventually used longer stronger head bolts and the head gasket issue went away. But replacing them head bolts on the earlier models required pulling the motor from what I hear, and was a very pricey endeavor if paying someone to do it. So yeah I gotta agree with the earlier 4.4s were a pretty shitty deal.

Yes and no. The 4.4L had a higher "rating" than the terminator, but the terminator was underrated and the N* was badly overrated. On the dyno, the 4.4L actually put down around 350-360RWP where the Terminator put down right around 370-380RWP. I always preferred the N* powerband to the B head cars. I drove a 98 Seville SLS and my sister drove a 94 Lincoln Mark VIII. The mark was a tick quicker, but I did have the 270HP N*.

I agree the terminator was obviously underrated, but its also obvious the 4.4 N* had a more power robbing drivetrain than the terminator. Also the two 4.4 versions of the N* were rated 26hp apart, not sure how much that differed on a dyno from the 443hp version being in the corvette Y-body platform and the 469hp version being in Caddy's sigma platform. No surprise their stock 1/4 mile times were quite close though typically being 12.7-13.1 & 111-112mph.

You nitpick because you have a vagina. That's what people with vaginas do. They nitpick for no reason and don't understand small mistakes that in the end make no real ******* difference all the while thinking they're better than anyone else all while not ever doing a damn thing except breathing.......that's you.
The 4.6 furds blew up plenty easy on their own. Furd shoulda did something but they didn't. Even the termi blew up after being revamped to be stronger.
