Cost for sure hurt GM on that one. Not a mustang fan but they definitely have a better price point.

True. Still surprising

i just think to the average consumer the Camaro is the least daily driver friendly if you look at all aspects. As far as an all around sports car it lacks in no areas.

It sells less because there is no advertising. I didn't even know they made a 6th gen until I read about them on here.

Thats another issue for sure

the advertising campaign is weak and boring. ***** just gay. Dodge has it figured out best

what is rattling on your interior anyway ? I’ve had no issues with anything. And I’ve even removed some deadener in some areas. Even my a8 is smooth as butter at 13k. Hard as hell life with no torque management for at least half. Hit the strip at 600 miles lol

Camaro has probably been the least dd since the 3rdgens in some ways, outward view, rear seat till sn95 cars, low floor height hindered 3/4 gens as a comparison to the same era mustang. However driving position in those cars are second to none imo. You feel like your part of those cars.

I loved 5gens. Didn't own any but drove phils plenty. I drove znix 6gen and think the front section of the car is very comfortable, phil looked a little cramped in the back.

Hopefully this new lower priced lt1 6gen will sell a few more.

As I said when you ignore the other downfalls the average consumer will hate my car is incredible. I just love driving it

i know they made improvements over my 2010 with the 5g but mine had aftermarket springs and sways. I even had poly subframe mounts and it still just felt numb to me or something. My 6g feels like a 4th gen on steroids. Hard to explain

for me it goes 6g, 4g, 5g as an all around car. Opinions vary

Horn/airbag assembly is the biggest culprit. Second biggest is the upper part of the dash, where the speaker covers are. Not near as bad as the airbag though.

Hmm. I’m sure you could fix it. Even when I’m running my dumps and vibrating the hell out of my car it’s still holding true

The rear seat of it was usable to......although there could have been better for the size of that vehicle also.

Ford on the GT on purpose made it soft since that is what most of its V8 customers want....decent traction. They don't care about handling. The GT350 R can handle if that is what you want from a Mustang but its very expensive.,

I'm sure I can too. I usually run the radio, so I barely notice it.

GM marketing for their performance cars is **** in the US, but they are marketed fairly well over seas.

They are supposed to sell an entry level trim SS (1LT?) for $34,995 IIRC

That'd be a good thing -

Yea but it's not a SS. It is a base 1LT with LT1.

Would love to have one with no badges and cut outs and make a sleeper out of it.

killed an A8 SS today from a dig.

first run i couldnt get it to shift into 2nd so he drove off. luckily we got a second run. i was behind him at the light on the 2nd run.

first gear was a wash...2nd i pulled up on him and by 3rd i was beside him and 4th i pulled away. id say it was 7000 in 4th when he stopped and i did. i was probably 2 ahead when he lifted. i could hear his auto majik shifting and it was pretty darned quick.

he wouldnt look at me or talk. im pretty sure that hasnt happened to him. he is used the the first run. unknown mods beside some exhaust on the SS.

the downside of doing that, is my wife saw me go by doing that run. im willing to bet he mods where that wont happen again.

BTW im using 93 octane right now.

Impressive for the 6gen, no doubt.

6gens are insane.

in my mind they are the performance standard that is hard or impossible to match.

IF Ford is listening, the coyote ain't gonna cut it in it's current bore and stroke. getting it's *** handed to it by every single 6gen on the street is back to business as usual for Ford.

i'm not motivated enough to mod up to handle 6gens like ultra-z on motor. i just don't care enough. i was pretty satisfied handling a 6gen A8 from a dig.

he was probably stock.

the A10 controller has me stoked though. even if i dont lift a finger and change to the A10 with a converter, i challenge most to handle that. light weight, 455rwhp, A10, 7800 rpms, high stall.

Thanks

but I think we be a decent race from a roll. Although in race trim and with the changes I’ve made lately my car is more than 100 lbs lighter than in this video. Lot of it rotating

this dude just went to new injectors and E85 tune though. Goes in for a tune on Tuesday. Will be 700 rwhp or better. Should be a good matchup when I go heads cam
