Hellcat thought he had easy prey
 

Got my revised tune in last night, and was out testing it out. Some guy sees my go pro on my car and decides to do a flyby. See that its a hellcat, and proceed to go after him. He turns the corner, and tries to gun it and leave me. Didn't work too well. So we played cat and mouse for a few miles and I honked it off after i heard him dow shift. Well he didn't go so I slowed down and he caught back up. Heard him rolling up in gear, so I downshifted. Luckily I did, because he quick 3 honked and went. Here's part of that story

youd be surprised at the guys who can’t even run properly from a roll with an auto lol. Some floor it and wait for the downshift lol. I’ve got a custom roll race tune that is money and very effective. Fairly certain I could beat a stock hellcat from a roll until very very high speeds even without my drag setup. Good runs !

That may very well be true. Could've very well beaten the driver as it had paper tags. Maybe he didn't have the red key. Who knows too. But was excited to finally race one lol. Thanks Ultra

Lol. Finally did some cooling mawds and that woke it up. Then finally got my tune. Seemed to have picked up quite a bit. Need to get it back on the dyno and back to the track. Have 16s coming next week, so I'll have traction too

Almost 1k for a damn pulley...then another 1k for cheap headers. They have a set of titanium headers for 3k. They have a E85 kit for 600, but that doesn't included injectors. And. Theres no tuning for it. So yeah its pretty pricey lol. Think next is longtubes

No tuning for the E85(that I've seen at least). The injectors are 800 alone

Lol.......i figured it was salty af. Might want to price a trans before you get to blow your wad on to many mods.

I dig the Merc as you already know, but they carry such a heavy tax with mods and still rather limited aftermarket.

They "say" its a pretty stout trans in these. Theres guys running in the 10s full weight on stock trans. Hopefully I have a long way to go lol

Yeah it's pretty bad. That's why I was even Leary about modding it. Guess I'll take it with baby steps. BMW is definitely kicking their ass on aftermarket
