Couldn't agree more. Pat G tuned the car and it's making close to 550 rwhp so it's not that the engine is down on power, I just haven't really laid into it at the track yet and It dosen't help that the car weighs in at 3,840 with a 240lb driver in it either. I've had to make some lifestyle changes as of late and goal number one is getting my blood pressure under control and get back into shape through diet and exercise.

A8 TC is shitting the bed in my 17 Sierra Denali. Goes in for warranty tomorrow (was free extended I didn't have buy it). That said, are their aftermarket builds and torque converters for the A8s yet?
Truck has less than 40,000 miles, and AFM has been turned off since I bought it (Range AFM disabler).

Budget HCI setup getting ready to go in for porting and such. My intake opening can be hogged out to 90mm but its a 3 bolt intake and I dont see alot of options for DBW 3 bolt 90mm throttle bodies. On a basic N/A do yall think a ported LS1/6 throttle body is sufficient? Just messing with what I can do for cheap with my wore out LS1 while I get a 6.0 built.

Porting the stock TB and port matching it to the intake is the direction im leaning,. Also doesnt seem like there is much (if any) gain to be had switching to the larger MAF. Hopefully it wakes this 140k mile ls1 up a little bit.

Since there is no conversation in here anyways. Work gave me a $150 amazon gift card yesterday so I was doing some browsing last night looking for something to spend it on. If yall were to decide where to cheap out on a build and say good nuff with amazon chinesium parts. Where would you decide it would be "ok" to do that? (Not going to, just thought it might be an interesting conversation).

That and the vid of the GTR giving the Lambo and unsolicited prostate exam are the only videos Ive seen of 2k this year. Lol. Looks like I'll actually get to go next year since its going to be in my backyard.

That would've been a high pucker factor moment for sure..Looks like Ennis, TX will be the only place I'll get to do some 1/4 mile racing after this season but there's word they may keep HRP open for another year.
