Could not reel it in So I was leaving the gas station with my wife on Sat. on the way to pick up my son from Grandma's. I notice a black SRT-4 that was sitting there, so I look around for the owner and could not see anyone so I just left not thinking anything about it. Two miles down the road guess who I see in my rear view? I drop it down in (D), when he pulls next to me and I give it a little gas then slowed down. He didn't even look over and took off. I was thinking here we 
go and I gun it also and got behind him because of a car in my lane, he started pulling away and I could not catch up. We hit traffic so I slowed down and got caught by the light.
While my wife and I were sitting at the light she looked over at me and said something that will make the parts wait even longer. She said "That was a fast little car".
My responce: "YEP"

Must have had the turbo upgrade they sell for like 400$ I've seen cars run in the low 13's with the upgrade. You'll get'm someday.

I went to Super Chevy yesterday and almost bought a set of AFR heads and a cam, thank god I talked myself out of it I just paid off my credit card but I have LT's and a ORY comming soon.

he had'nt picked up his son yet. i wish my dad had stories like that!!!
my dad has NEVER gotten a moving violation in his ENTIRE life, so needless to say, he has high standards for me. if he breaks 3mph over the speed limit, he gets a rush like he just smoked crack.
he must gas the hell out of it when im not with him or somthing. one of his trucks is an 89 chevy on its 3rd 350!!

.Doesn't take much for them skittles to run next to stock / near stock LS1s. That's why I started modding the SS, the skittle was gaining too much ground..... I couldn't have the daily driver be faster than my weekend toy

I've had it happen to me too...I had one run neck and neck with me to 60 MPH or so when I had just a lid and cutout, and one recently that I was slowly pulling on with my headers. The day one really pulls me is the day I stop spending money on bling stuff and get straight to the business end of things.
