I hear you knocking, but you can't come in. I took the left lane next to this "great white whale"
Cadillac. Not one of the models you want to stay
behind, down here in GeezerLand. But then I heard
the trunk rattling to some boom-boom song, so it
must not be Grampa Gus inside (dark tint). The light
turns green and young Gus III tries to race! I can
hear the unfortunate engine pinging like mad, louder
than my (fairly mellow) exhaust. I pull well ahead,
by applying -maybe- half throttle, and hit "Resume".
But Gus is still "charging". Every time he gets to my
bumper, I give it a little surge and put a carlength or
two on him. Have to give him credit, he stays with it
and when I get tired of playing he goes "flying" by.
To catch the next red light a few hundred yards ahead.
This time I only toy with him briefly, and then mat it.
