Default Killed an '02 Z28

I was the way home from the bank listening to Eminem's new CD and I stopped next to a Silver '02 M6 Z28. It had a stock catback and some '86 TA wheels on the back with a horrible offset.

Anyway, I didn't even have my hands on the wheel/stick and he went. I didn't think he would. I had to pedal 1st and 2nd gear pretty bad. I made up the 3 car lengths that he took out of the hole and put about 6 on him half way through third. Maybe he shut down. Doesn't matter really. No spray since traction ain't happening right now.

He rolled up to the next red light and he said "you've got too much for me" after I gave him a nod. It turns out that I hung out with him at the track last year. Nice guy.

Nothing special, but all the cars are put away for the winter 'round here already.

Right. But as I see it, I wouldn't figure there would be too much out on the road that could actually be considered special in a race against your beast. Nice kill anyway.

Thanks Justin. There are plenty of cars near me that can walk me badly. I just haven't run into any yet.

Yea, it is pretty insane around here. If you arent modded then there is no point in racing when a Neon can beat you.

I am also putting my car away real soon.

I just got back from a quick dyno session...turns out my A/F was 13.8:1. Thank God I didn't spray it today! I cranked up the boost-a-pump thinking it would richen it up. Boy was I wrong. More injector and a tune will be done in a few days.

BlackSrt - I'll be driving mine all year 'round. I'm paying $700/month for this POS so I'm driving it even if there's a monsoon passing through...and it's just a Mustang.

Lucky man. Good thing you caught that before you sprayed.
700/month! <<That would be me haha. I only have a Neon! Maybe I will bring mine out in the middle of January and race them in some snow and see who wins? I think I might have the advantage!

Good kill dude.

Even I put my car away since around here I am pretty fast and that NJ winters are sometimes pretty bad (not like yours though)

Now I have to pray that the beater holds up this year.

I'm only around 240lbs right now. I think it would be a good race since my car weighs several hundred more pounds than yours. The playing field should be fair.

Let's pull up to a light, throw some revs, then get out...run around to the back of the car and push like a **** on green!

I think the Cobra would be easier to push (taking a wild guess), the rear end is flatter and the deck spoiler would give good grip. The SRT rear is too curved and its spoiler wouldn't help any

Nice Kill!

Here I am probably one of the older guys (In my later 30's) who posts on this and still realizing I need to learn a lot. AF 13.8.1, I realize it means air fuel ratio and lean, but by how much? What should it be?

Both my cars are running like crap! And it's the best time to run here in H-Town.... No money to fix either, Man..... Anyone got a gun, I'de like to shoot both my cars.

i'm actually suprised at the number of fbody/mustang/vettes i still see on the road....not that's it's snowed yet or anything....the last time i lived in detroit a few years ago, i was on my way to work in the early early morning on 696 and there had been some black ice at overnight.....i saw what looked like the result of an attempted race: a camaro and a vette sittin' on the side from what looked like one of them loosing control and sliding into the other......

i remember having to drive my old 94z one winter....it looked pretty mean with steel wheels and snow tires
