Stock Vs Stock...????
Just wanted to Know how my Stock 98 a would do against other stock cars in a race??
Vs. Mach 1
Mustang GT (94-04)
LT1 F-bodys
350Z
04 GTO
5.0 Mustangs
93-98 Turbo/NA Supra
SRT-4 Neon
RX-7
RX-8
Vs. Mach 1

Ok let me start this off by saying this is assuming all cars are 100% stock.
Mach 1- Drivers race
Mustang GT (94-04) - LS1 should pull with no problem
LT1 F-bodys - LS1 should pull with no problem
350Z - LS1 easily should pull
04 GTO - Drivers race slight edge going to F body
5.0 Mustangs - LS1 easily should pull
93-98 Turbo/NA Supra - Drivers race slight edge to Supra/ LS1 very easily should pull
SRT-4 Neon - LS1 should pull
RX-7 - Close but LS1
RX-8 - LS1 very easily
WRX - LS1 easily but WRX getting the jump from a dig

Plus they have the same engine as an F body but arent underrated like an F body is. They actaully have been putting down a little less than F bodies in stock form.

I was just going by the numbers I have seen on here and a few other boards. All I have seen have been around 280-290 rwhp and 310 rwtq. I am by no means an expert on what a GTO puts to the ground.

Basically, in my opinion, the LS1 will dominate over most stock common cars we see everyday and the ones that actually have about the same amount of power comes down to a driver's race. God i love the LS1

im guessing he has a different car as well, the first thing i did was look at his sig. that car would be not stock
