New Bodied 911 TURBO......Yeeow
Well sure enough the first car I run into after my LT/Clutch install is a Silver ('01-02?) 911 Turbo . Newest bodystyle. Anyway here are the details.
The guy was in downtown traffic and was nice enough to let me out into traffic at an intersection (setting me up no doubt) We cought a light in the middle of downtown (Him behind me). Thinking he was your average $175K car driver I paid no attention until I saw a silver streak fly bye me and hit the brakes as to not smack the minivan ahead. Oh **** this guy is pretty fun...
We caught the next light like the first one (Him behind me). I cut off traction control quickly passed the minivan beside me and dropped a lane (still in first). I gave it all I had in first he jumped me a good car. Spun bad shifting into second and had to lift (Damned cold weather), but I dont think it would have mattered. That car was nasty fast. Completely quiet (comparatively speaking) and lightning quick through the first two gears.
He was a nice guy, we exchanges thumbs up and **** eating grins for a while and went our seprate ways. Would love to catch him in a second gear roll sometime on the highway to see how fast the car actually was.
BTW: The car had 911 GT2 or something on the tag, but I am pretty sure it was not a GT2 (Got waaay too much traction).

I once played with 911 non turbo and that guy couldn't believe he lost to a $23,000 car. I know I would be no match for a turbo. 0-60 in around 3.5-3.7 sec 11.9 in the 1/4. I can't touch that but I would still play just to see how fast they would pull away.

I would love to play with someone like that. Of course I would have to spray all the way

I love it when they talk smack and think they have a fast car and then get wasted like that. I beat a guy this summer in a new GT just like that...he asked if my little camaro wanted to play hehehe.

Back in 1998 I raced my 325rwp M6 SS(13.0@109) against a new 911 twin turbo and I would 60ft him since he would hit the rev limiter but at the top of 2nd he would put 3 cars on me, we did this three times. They were like 12.0 cars at that time.
Last time I raced anyone in the Formula (11.02@123mph) I put about ~20 cars on a brand new Mustang GT.
