Default 2000 TA WS6 A4 vs. 01-02 TA WS6 M6 vert.

I went cruising to my local racing spot never the beach today. I didn't go there to find a race or anything I just went out cruising. Anyways, I take the turn-off to make a u-turn to come back to base, and what do I see sitting there waiting to make a u-turn.....a black 01-02 TA WS6 vert. I was like kick ***. Then I remembered that I saw 4 cops in the past 2 miles, and it was 5:00 p.m. when everyone was getting off work. The thing is the next light after the u-turn is always red when you get to it from the u-turn. Well, the light turns green, and we both make the turn. He gets on it a little bit till he hits about 50-60 mph. It sounds like he has work done to it, because the exhaust note is really loud. He is already sitting at the light when I pull up next to him slowly. He looks over and I give him a little head nod. I just kept praying that no cops were watching since this was going to be a good race. The light turns green, but cross-traffic is still in my lane making a turn. He put 2 cars on me before I could even leave the light because of the car in my lane. I finally get on it and start catching him quick. I caught him at about 65 mph and just kept pulling on him. I was trying to imagine what he was thinking when I came from 2 cars back to pass him. I had 3/4 of a car on him at 115 mph, when I shut down because my common sense kicked in. I was thinking......broad daylight + 4 cops in 2 miles = Very bad. So I shut down, and he just kept going like a bat-out-of-hell. It's a good thing too because there was a cop sitting off the side of the road a few blocks up. Dodged the bullet.

I think he was stock except for exhaust.

I have the BG ram air, air lid, filter, SLP mass air, LS6 intake manifold, SLP headers, SLP high flow cats, Flowmaster exhaust, and 3.73 gears.
