Quick pull on an STi
 

Not much to the story. I've been wanting to catch up with one and I did the other day.

We both take off normally (there's a car in front of me). I shift at ~2800 RPM's and chirp 2nd a little bit then shortshift into 3rd. He decides to take off. There wasn't much I could do since I had a car in front of me, so I dropped 2nd, switched lanes and went after him.

By the time I hit 3rd we were dead even and I just pulled away.

Nice cars, but I figured they'd be a little stronger than that from a roll.

There's a local guy that recently totalled his, but ran a 13.0 @ 103 bone stock and another local beat him in his 98 Z28 with catback only from a roll. Well until 112 when the Z's speedlimiter kicked in...damn H rated tires haha.
