Punched off with a 2005 Viper........
I live in California Small town West of San Jose, Los Banos........Driving East to San Jose on 152.........4 lane highway til intersection on 156.......Brand new Red viper driving fast to catch me saw him in rear view told my wife this red viper is wanting to catch us............both in fast lane going about 75-80 with him on my *** behind me traffic opened up.........watching in rear view....Saw his front end lift up which meant his was on it quickly down shifted to 4th gear he got up to my rear quarter panel and than I started to pull him at 115 he was a 1/2 car back than I had to hit the brakes because we caught the traffic real fast.. so I pulled in slow while he was trying to catch me....he pulled next to me again going about 75-80 down shifted again and we both hit it at the same time. This time I pulled him hard by the time I shifted to 5th gear I had 1 1/2 cars on him we both slowed down beacuse of a little traffic again......I quess I suprised him with this little 99 Red FRC..........

I wouldn't even mind running you in my 2000 Mustang GT, for fun of course. I think it would be pretty close!!!

Last time at Sac on July 2nd went 11.819 @ 119.927 with a 1.72 60'!!!
It was 85 degree then with 50% humidity. That corrects to 11.51 @122 MPH according to fellow board member Steve Gunn.
I have changed the cams since then and upped the shot so hopefully it will run 10.90's this fall!! (Perry prays LOL)

That run was with a 100 shot on the first stage (first three gears) and a 75 shot on the second stage ( used in 4th gear only).
Unfortunately, a week later I had a Mod Max valve spring break. It totally ruined my newly ported & polished head and destroyed the piston in my stock shortblock!!!
My wife was driving the car to Fresno at 75 MPH when this happened!!! The dang motor only had a little over 500 miles on the new top end!!!
I have since replaced it with a Sean Hyland built longblock with Cobra crank and Manley forged rods & pistons all secured by ARP. The heads are his race ported version with the works done to them.
The cams I was running were the Comp Cams 268's for the NPI motor (.495 lift). I am currently switching them to the 270's with 550 lift and alot more duration.
It is funny but I am at my shop taking a break from installing the new bullit while I type this post.
I hope to have it up and running by tommorrow night!!!

I have a few friends & we go sit on the other end of Mchenry down by the Shell station & watch all the ricers act like fools!!!
I've gotten a little to old to act like the kids (40) but i still enjoy the street scene!!!
I do alot of street racing still, but only with a few & select cars. The Honda boys roll out in groups of to many to count and that draws the cops.
If I race someone we sneak out of town with a couple of cars, do the run and then come back up town & talk about it!!! Much safer that way!!!

They can be made to run, the only problem is with all of the best parts known to man I am only gonna be making the same power as a slightly modded LS1. Without the juice of course!!!LOL
