"No Chance" SS Goes Down - Maxima gets Busted Bad. .
I'm driving down a major 3 lane highway I see a silver camaro SS two lanes over. He gives it some gas and shoots in front of me, and I notice "LS1" decals on the sides of the back window, and an "SLP Performance" plate frame surrounding the license plate, which read "NO CHANZ", or the like. We exchange quick throttle hits, and I end up in front of him, with him in the lane next to me. I see his nose rise and him start gaining quick .... and just as he's about even I downshift into 3rd (doing about 65) and give it 3/4 or so throttle. I quickly stop his pull and continue to pull him by at least 5 or so car lengths by the end of 4th, when I see his nose dive. He pulls up and gives me a nod, and we bs around for a few more minutes before we both go our seperate ways. I noticed he had the amazing LS1 oil consumption that I most certainly don't miss, in the form of smoke coming out his tailpipes.
Later that night, I am getting on the onramp to drive home on that same highway, and fall in behind a newer maxima 3.5, with 2 younger "gangsta" white guys in it ... if there is such a thing. Well I guess the guy thought my presence meant I wanted to race, so he preceeded to mash the gas and take off. I casually brought her up to about 80 or so, and poped on the cruise control. A dozen or so seconds later he's still flying down the street, now about a quarter mile ahead of me, apparently still believing that I am racing him .... when I see him slam on the brakes. For a second I thought that he figured out that there was no car racing him ..... but then I saw the cop who was sitting on the side of the road in darkness flip on his headlights, and peel out (cutting me off). After I was done with the evasive manuevers to avoid the cop, I watched with a big grin as the maxima tried to dart down the next onramp (still doing at least 100) to avoid the cop. The 5-0 starts gaining and cuts a few other people off inorder to get onto the same onramp. I was going to follow, but my concience told me it was a bad idea, so I just slowed and watched as the cop got on the maxima's *** going up the ramp and out of sight. Either it turned out to be a high speed pursuit, or the maxima guy got to spend the night in jail for doing well over 120mph in a 55.
P.S. For those who are following the project ... my car is getting tuned next week, and her first WOT run will most certainly come on the ride home from the dyno.

the cop in your story cut off you and a lot of other people to catch some ricer??? luckily he didnt hit anyone else or especially you, i dont think you would be too happy if you ended up in the ditch because of a cop

Yeah he cut off at least 3 people, badly .... and I was in the middle of 3 lanes, with NOBODY else around .... he could have easily just pulled off the shoulder into the right lane, but instead he swearved right out in front of me .... maybe he was DWI??
