it'll never work..that state sees so much money from those tickets that they write...they'd have to make it up another way.

It's a shame that it's about generation of revenue and not keeping people from getting hurt.

it is...but how are you going to get people to stop being hurt? the ones who are crashing into people...or just crashing their cars aren't going to be deterred by bigger fines or even more police because they don't think. Its all a big thing to make more money..same thing with the damn seatbeat laws.

Seatbelt may save my life in a crash, and aftermarket exhaust most likely won't.

Save a life, don't modify your car.

except laws are made to protect ourselves from other people...not ourselves. anyway..if seat belts save lives...or your body can become a projectile and kill someone..then they should outlaw motorcycles...they don't have seatbelts.

As far as I'm concerned, California can just fall off into the Pacific and never come back.

And i wouldnt bat an eye. That state is goin to hell in a handbasket. They think that these big fines are gonna stop **** and it aint. They are gonna keep moddin them and if they cant afford to pay the fine then the car loese its registration and the guy drives around in a illeagel car and then gets in a accident and everyone gets fucked.
