Default 98 Trans am VS Ford F550

Well went out tonight to meet up with some guys at BWW and talk cars and such. The end of the night we head home and I offer to drive a couple of friends home. So were sittin at a light pretty far off from traffic and I was planning on rippin it up when we hit green just to show off a little for my friends and let them feel some LS1 power. Well this turck comes up next to me and starts to brake torque and I can hear his massive turbo spool. So I had to show him up and light em up myself, well as I'm doing this the light changes and he takes off like a bat out of hell while I spin sideways through first and kinda let off due to a turn right away. Well this guy is in it for a good run and I hear that hes still pedal to the floor so I can't be beat by a truck and fly past him at about 60 or so. The guy was cool as hell, even though his truck had 23s on it he said he wasn't stock and his truck was absolutly massive. He was upset that I beat him and I didn't bother to tell him I wasn't in it all the way. He blew his fire engine horn a couple of times and turned off, what a crazy race and yet so bad ***.

Did you mean F350 or did you really mean 550 because those are semi size.

It had a badge on the side that said F550 but it actually had a real bed too, but it was definatly a 550 because it was huge and I have seen big trucks before. My friend's brother has a lifted 350 and this thing was definatly bigger.

I was with a friend in his F350 turbo diesel (dually) and we stomped the **** out of a '05 GTO. Those trucks can make huge torque and are easily modified.

F-550's are the same size trucks as the F-350's. They just have a way stronger drivetrain and all that good stuff. they do have big dually rims from the factory. i think they are like 19.5" rims or somthin stock.

yeah theyre the exact same weight give or take 500 pounds due to added cooling parts, stronger drivetrain, bigger suspension parts, etc. don't underestimate some of those diesel guys. i work at a used dealership on long island and we have some crazy monster truck type things and some cool cars, we had this 03 chevy 3500 crew cab dually with a duramax diesel and had a open 5'' exhaust, cai, and a tuner and it was just as quick as our 04 sti. but still got 28mpg on the highway. i believe my next vehicle is going to have to be a chevy 2500HD ECSB with a duramax, they are badass.

Things that big shouldn't be that fast! That must be scary as f*ck! If I got smoked by one of those, I'd be afraid of it coming back to eat my car.

lol, ive been laughed at and mocked while at the drag strip. Then i start brake torqing to lite the turbo and everyone kinda looks at me like im freakin crazy (sounds like a jet and smokes like a frieght train!). Once the turbo lites its hold the f*ck on. I launch in 4x4 and it will easily spin all 4 off the line. Im by no means the fastest diesel but i turn alot of heads. Anyone been to the wichita ks, strip lately?
