Default Took out an 05 STI

I was hangin out at the local audio dealer and some guy from outa town pulled up in an STI. He noticed the trans am so we got to talkin. Decided we would go out and race from about a 30 roll. I've never seen an STI in action so i thought i was gonna get smoked. We hit it at about 30, let the auto downshift and do it's thing. He pulled about a half a car right away but then outa no where i blew by him. I ended up shuttin down at about 115-120 and had about 3 car lengths on him. He was bone stock and i got a 99 trans am with LM exhaust. I was happy with the Trans Am.

The way the sti's are geared and the qiuck spool they can get out ahead quick, even on the roll.

STI's aren't that fast. The only way they can hit 13's is if they AWD launch. They don't retain as much of their power due to their AWD drivetrain. I don't think they will get nearly as much of a jump.

They can be made really fast... Stock ones with a good driver should be in low 13s...

Yup, and they can get a tune and lil' raise in boost with their stock turbo for little money and get some big gains off the bat with out buying a bunch of stuff.
