Default All motor s2k VS 97 Trans AM

Well, we went up to a new spot in Md. It was the best damn place I have ever seen. Anyway, My friend has a 01 s2k with intake, exhaust, and a stroked motor. 2.0 to a 2.5. NOTHING else. They lined up head to head, teh s2k got the kick. The T/A had a stall, cam, intake, exhaust, M/T Streets. They left damn near the same time, but some how the s2k pulled him up top? At the end the s2k had about 1-1 1/2 cars. I really thought he would have lost but he didnt. We will have a vid of it soon. It was all done on night shot so it kinda sucks. But we all had good runs. I ran a GSX that had cams, intake, exhaust, AWD C16 and 25+ lbs of boost. I was on pump gas and 14lbs. He killed me off of the start. He got me by about 2-3 cars from the dig but I made them up and put 1-2 on him. It was a great night of fun, I hope to have the vid up soon

LOL, j/k. What stall did the T/A have and do you know the specs on the cam? Nice kill on the GSX.

Something doesn't sound right. 2.5L from a 2.0??? Never heard of that one before.

uhhhh? maybe he hasent got that thing tuned? doesnt sound right.

Inline Pro makes the kit, and increases the power by about 45 rwhp, and 50 rwtq (they dyno close to 200 rwhp stock). It looks pretty decent but havent heard of many of them out there. That LT1 must not have had all that great of a setup.

what turbo did the gsx have? good kill with that one, if it was a turbo that is efficient up to that 25psi with the racegas he could be trapping 115++ and well into the 11's, but for the most part the dsm's are not tuned properly.

1g or 2g gsx?

I have seen 2.5L 4 Cyl, if my motor blows on my Evo, I will be going with a 2.4. Thats a pretty quick S2K

If you go to www.inlinepro.com you can see the 2.5L He made 252rwhp with the 3in exhaust. he has ITB and the AEM EMS, we should put them in next week. I found out the T/A DOES NOT have a cam in it

Just didn't think it would be possible with only 2.0l motor. I guess, I was wrong

Nice numbers btw, did it get much more tq?

JUST a stroked motor??? the car that makes like the most HP per liter with ONLY a stroked motor?? i wish i only had a stroked motor. just kidding with you a little bit thats probably a nice fockin s2k man

I really dont know much about the car. It had a FMIC, EMS, C16, Exhaust, cam= LARGE, 25psi or so boost. He killed me out of the hole but i had alot more topend. I ran at the track last year and ran a 12.5 at 129mph. My topend is great

if you did trap 129mph- then yeah you most likely have ALOT more top-end than that dsm.

it most likely had hks- 272's (cams). there are not many choices for the dsm's.
