00ws6 v.s 85monte carlo ss My friends wife just got her car running again. Its a 85 monte carlo ss with a fully built 383 stroker. He was using Bfg drag radials and im still on the nitto drags. He said that he had it dynoed a lil over 500hp at the crank. First race we went from a roll about 45mph and he pulled about 1/2 a car on me. We raced from a traffic light and i took him from the start and put 1 to 1 1/2 cars on him he may have been pulling back up a lil on me but nothing that i could dramatically tell. And the final race was from a 2nd gear 35mph roll i had about a 1/2 a car on him time. He has bad traction problems even with the drags. He only has a 15x8 in the rear. I think its a 235/15 bfg drag. Pretty cool car altogether very clean. If he had traction off the line i think he might take me from the roll though i think its just cause these damn LS1s pull so hard up top.
