Finally got to race another LS1!

Finally got to race another LS1! i was on my home from my g/fs house and pulled up to a stop light and a 98+ camaro rolled up next to me. he looked over and i looked back and he asked me "is that thing fast" i said not really but its ok. then he says "you wanna see if you can keep up" so ofcourse i went for it. not knowing what was going to happen when i tried to launch. i was reving at about 2200 and he had aftermarket exhaust so i couldnt hear my car over his so i didnt know what was going to happen. light turned green and we both jumped on it. he crept out just a nose ahead of me on the start then i hooked up and pulled my 1/4 panel to his nose and after 3rd i got about a car or so on him. we raced to about 100 then i flashed my brake lights at him and a silly kid in a civic trying to keep up lol. he said that we were pretty much even and i just hooked up first. yea that and trans ams are faster then slowmaros. but i didnt say that outloud. we exchanged thumbs up and went our sepearte ways. so far the best kill ive had.

omfg.... that car is just F-ING REDICULOUS.....
The owner wanted to race my dads 03 Cobra... (but my dad didnt want waste his time)....
The guy said he was smoking Hayabuusas and everything.... I believe it..
