WASTED Buddys SRT-4 Like the title says, My friend from work recently accuried a black 05 Srt-4, He was relectant to race me, but would always talk S, until he had a Mopar CAI and Blow off vaulve installed.
He raced me that day after work. We raced from a stop light we both slightly spun, I BANGED 2nd And pulled In Front of him, Then we went to the highway, were I spanked him, I didnt walk him I ran away, I mean he couldnt even get the jump this was from 50mph roll, 70, and 90 three beep go's, He even admitted the next day at work to our friends, "He had like 10 cars on Me"
Btw My car is a basically stock 96 Lt1 TA
Also walked away from a 04 05 BMW 745 from 90-145 On Christmas day

Thats what I thought...The Reason why I say kinda stock is because Ive had this car for a while and I won I lotta races I dont think I shoud have, I beat a new STI stock twice in a row, and he couldnt even hang after 60.... Only mod I know I have is Cags, and SLP Cai, I think I may have 3.73, Imma count the gears

Good Kill.I guess its possible for a Lt1 to walk a Skittle From a DIG them CARS just fregin SUCK. at launching.As for RUnning away in a ROLL thats what Ls1's do Haha

Ya he prolly sucks at driving also.. Its Ez Knowing what ur Car is able to HAng with after Your RAce a LS1.. so what are you waiting for go out and find 98LS1 to play with

You are going to pull the diff cover etc. JUST TO COUNT THE TEETH!?!?!?! Man...why not just rotate the tires and count the DS's revolutions...sounds easier, either that or just look at your tach. at 60 and punch into a gear calculator...

nice kill on the 1% away from stock, neon. my friends LT1 camaro won't even climb over 130 and he has lid and exhaust.
good kills though

Sounds like your putting down at least 315whp. You probably have a diff spec cam or headwork. Maybey different roller rockers. Put her on a dyno and check it out. 10 cars from a roll is believable for a stock ls1. Not so much a stock lt1. Youll never know till you put it on the dyno or open up the heads.

Actually another possibility is you dont have an lt1 at all. They made some lt4's in 96. Check the number on your block, or even the VIN. That would be a pleasant surprise.

My A4 LT1 pulls strong at 130... sounds like your friend might have a bad opti or something.

Weren't '93-'97 F-bods top speed governed if they were not specified with Z rated rubber from the factory? I think I recall something like that. I may be wrong.
