So I was gettin gas at the local pump last night and this nice bad azz looking red ss shoots in the station for some as well. Just sounded absoulte meaty. Got out and asked what hes runnin and got the H/C answer... then asked me and gave him that im runnin minor bolt-ons. Anyways to get to the race. So I asked if he wanted to run em so we went out the closest freeway.

Both runs were from a roll of course the first one form a 40 and the next from a 30. So the first run wasn't even close... I mean he didn't even walk me. It was 3 honks and then and I just felt as if I was going in reverse. It was really pretty sad. I was chillin in second with probably a good 3,500rpm - 4rpms and he just took off. Soon as i hit 3rd he was a good 1-1/2 lengths ahead and then by 4th maybe a couple of bus loads.

Second run was from a 30 and this was where my gears actually gave me a chance compared to his stock 3.42's but not for long. After 3 honks we hit it and I jump out maybe 1/2 a car but then I hit a wall and he just went screaming by and raped me again.

This now makes me want to get my cam in there sooner than the spring. He was running the same cam I'm gettin a TR 224/224 - 112lsa. He also had it tuned out. Didn't ask what kind of heads but oh well, his ride was nice. Anyways how much rwhp you guys think he's pushing compared to me. I'm thinking a good 50~75ish rwhp compared to whatever I'm pushing. So I thought I would just post up my first real loss for my car and THANK GOD it was to another CAMARO!!! Thanks!

Heads/cam TR224 about 390-430rwhp depending on setup, A4 or M6.
Sound like he sprayed you.

M6 would put him in 400-430 range. With 410-420 most likely. He has about 80 ponies on you. Not enough to jump/pull on you like that (NA) IMO. I could be wrong of course.

.....I could be wrong of course, because I'm just comparing setups on paper. Where you both were in powerband on the hit plays a huge roll.

RrCoX22...how do you like the pacesetter shorties and the RT Y w/cats? I'm thinking about the same headers....but on pacesetters site it says they're mids and not shorties...in the pic they look like shorties though:wtf: How was the fitment? I have a 00 so i'm trying to see if the "mids" will even be worth the $500
